Originally from Denver, Colorado, Sam founded Rode Salon with a vision of exceptional service, education, and artistry. Specializing in extensions, blonding, and lived-in color, she creates customized results tailored to each guest’s hair, lifestyle, and maintenance goals.
Beyond the chair, Sam is passionate about education, teaching hands-on masterclasses that empower stylists to refine their craft and grow their careers.
Outside the salon, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Steve, and their French Bulldog, George.

ELIZABETH RUSH

With over a decade of experience behind the chair, Elizabeth is known for her attention to detail, thoughtful approach, and commitment to creating a personalized experience for every guest.
Having both trained and taught at local hair institutes, she brings a strong foundation in education and artistry to her work. Elizabeth specializes in creating customized, lasting results while ensuring every guest feels comfortable, confident, and cared for.
Outside the salon, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family, and can often be found baking sourdough.

Grace began her career after training locally at Aveda Institute and has since become known for her expertise in grey blending, blonding, and hair extensions. She is passionate about creating customized color and extension services that enhance each guest's natural beauty while fitting their lifestyle and maintenance goals.
Outside of the salon, Grace is always on the go. Whether she's trying a new fitness class, traveling with friends, or spoiling her nieces, she brings the same positive energy and enthusiasm to everything she does.

Originally from Colorado, Jules moved to Jacksonville in 2022 and began her career after training at Aveda Institute. Since joining Rode Salon, she has spent two years working closely with founder Sam, refining her artistry and developing a strong foundation in Rode’s signature techniques.
Jules loves creating effortless, dimensional lived-in color and customized extensions that complement each guest’s individual style.
Outside the salon, she enjoys crafting, spending time with family, and being surrounded by her three dogs and two cats. Fun fact: she has a twin brother, and both her dad and brother are firefighters!

BETHANY BURGESS

Originally from Florida, Bethany brings a passion for precision haircutting, men’s cuts, and dimensional color to Rode Salon. With an eye for detail and a love for creating personalized looks, she enjoys helping guests achieve effortless, beautiful results that complement their individual style.
Outside the salon, Bethany enjoys spending time with family.
